Lamu - Lamu Governor, Issa Timammy has ditched the Jubilee Party citing overcrowding.
The Governor, who left UDF party for Jubilee just two months ago, has now decided to join Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC.
He blamed some unnamed parties in Jubilee for ‘bragging of owning the party’, and faulted both Cord and Jubilee for endless infighting.
Timammy heaped praises on Mudavadi whom he referred to as his mentor and his party as the ideal vehicle for his re-election.
“I want to belong to a party that respects its members and where they have equal regard for each other. I thank God ANC provides just that,” he said.
