Government to build two cancer hospitals in every County

Eldoret - The National Government has allocated enough funds for the purchase of cancer equipment.
According to President Uhuru Kenyatta, this will help curb the increasing cases of the disease.
"My government will ensure that each County has at least two cancer hospitals that are fully equipped," he said.

Speaking on Wednesday during the burial of Deputy president, William Ruto's brother Harisson Kiptoo, President Kenyatta said they will be acquiring sophisticated and modern equipment to help fight cancer.
"The government will soon be getting modern machines to help in the fight against cancer," said the head of state.
Kenyatta was worried by the rate at which cancer is claiming lives.
"Two modern cancer machines will be given to two hospitals in the 47 counties," he added.
