Nairobi - The heavy rains that continue to pound parts of the country has resulted to the death of four people in Nairobi.
The four were killed Friday afternoon after a perimeter wall collapsed on them along Lenana Road, a few kilometres from the city centre.
Kilimani Police Boss speaking to News24 said the four were killed as they sheltered from the heavy rain that has caused flooding of major roads in the city.
"Lenana Road leading to the Russian Embassy has been closed due to the collapsed wall," he said.
On Thursday, heavy traffic jams were witnessed in the city after a big downpour, forcing motorists and commuters to spend hours on the road.
A number of roads such as Kenyatta Avenue, and Ojijo Road in Westlands were completely flooded, forcing pedestrians to wade through water as they headed home.
