" Human is to error and I made a mistake myself in 2012 by supporting the current President instead of looking at the interests of the Luhya community," he said.
" I have learnt from my mistake and I ask you to support me come 2017," he added.
Mudavadi said that he was a progressive leader ad would bring change to the country unlike the current leadership.
" You have seen the problems we have. They can be change in this country if you support Musalia," he insisted.
The ANC leader did not speak about any forthcoming coalitions he is likely to be involved in come the next elections, instead choosing to say that he is concentrating on his own elections bid.
Mudavadi has been linked with on a number of occasions with CORD leader Raila Odinga but that has been shot down by his party which has insisted that he will go it alone come the elections.
