Father kills son over family disputes

Bomet - A fifty eight year old man has been arrested and is being held at Bomet Police Station for killing his twenty year old son over family disputes.
Confirming the incident, Kiptulwa Chief Simon Kitur said that the father and the son were not in good terms with the father who has been saying that he did not sire the boy.
"The father has been against the son saying that she did not sire him.What happened is really unfortunate", said the chief.
Tension gripped Kiptulwa Village in Bomet County as residents received the sad news of the son's death.
The angry residents wanted to lynch the man but was rescued by Nyumba kumi initiative members.
The body of the son has been taken to Longisa County mortuary.
