Expert: CORD rebels are a liability to Jubilee

Nairobi - CORD rebel members who decamped to Jubilee are a big liability and will not help the party in the 2017 polls, a political analyst has said.
Nakuru based political analyst, Gilbert Wanje said that CORD rebels who joined Jubilee have no following and they add no value to the party.
Wanje says that the rebels from Coast, eastern, western and Kisii regions are likely to lose their seat in the 2017 general elections and Jubilee will have the burden of taking care of them after the election.

Wanje argues that the defectors have not in any way shaken or sliced CORD's support in their areas.
"These people who defected from CORD to Jubilee are political nobodies and I don't see them adding any value to the Jubilee party. They don't own any political following and I wonder what value Jubilee intends to get from them," said Wanje.
