Exercise is essential for any fitness program. Whether you have a healthy BMI or not, you are required to have a regular workout program that keeps you physically fit.
In the case of low BMI, there are specific programs that are geared towards muscle building.
These strength-training programs include activities such as:
1. Chest presses
2. Leg lifts
3. Tricep extensions
4. Bicep curls
Remember that Body Mass Index is just a rough estimate to guide your feeding and general lifestyle. If your BMI is low, you need to first determine the number of calories you require in order to gain the recommended BMI.
However, this does not mean determine your level of fitness. Other than diet, your body composition may lead to a low BMI.
