Nakuru - A member of Parliament has asked President Kenyatta to fight and end corruption to save the First Lady from running marathons to raise money for mobile clinics.
Rongai member of Parliament, Raymond Moi said the amount of money being lost in corruption is enough to buy 47 mobile clinics for every County.
Speaking Sunday in Nakuru town, Moi said there are billions of money being lost in corruption that could be put to better use.
"If only the President could fight corruption, the First lady wouldn't be running marathons to solicit for money from corporate bodies," said Moi.
Moi said it was a shame for the country to run marathons to raise money for mobile clinics while government officials are stealing billions from government coffers.
"The President should stop his people from robbing the government and give the money to the First Lady to buy more clinics," he said.
