DP Ruto will be a hard candidate to sell in 2022, says Jubilee MP

Nakuru - A Jubilee member of Parliament from rift valley has said that it will be hard for Kenyans to buy deputy President William Ruto's candidature in 2022.
The MP therefore urged Ruto to be prepared for political rejection saying he has already messed up his presidential bid by treating Kenyans in opposition as his enemies.
Speaking Wednesday in Kuresoi, Kuresoi south MP Zakayo Cheruiyot said that most communities in Kenya cannot trust Ruto and therefore cannot vote for him.

"I can tell you that Ruto is my good friend but the truth is that it will be very hard to sell his candidature in 2022. He is not popular nationally like Uhuru and his race to statehouse will be a daunting task," he said.
"The truth is that most Kenyans do not trust Ruto and they therefore cannot trust him with the presidency," said the MP.
He called on Ruto to start working on his image and redeem it before 2017.
"Ruto should spend most of his time redeeming his image instead of always attacking Raila. Let him work on his relationship with Kenyans in western, Coast, Nyanza, Nairobi and Eastern because these are the people who will deny him the presidency," he said.
