DP Ruto talk made me quit ODM, MP says

Nairobi - A talk by Deputy President William Ruto convinced an ODM MP to quit the Party for the Jubilee Coalition.
According to John Waluke the Sirisia MP in Bungoma County, Ruto was the main reason why he snubbed the famed Third Force movement and joined the Jubilee Party from ODM.
" The DP convinced me to join Jubilee. He showed me his vision for western Kenya as well as all Kenyans and I agreed to join him to develop the country," he said.
Waluke has been castigated by ODM for quitting the party for Jubilee, but says that he is happy wherever he is.
" Waluke is happy in Jubilee. There is no doubt. I will defend my seat on a Jubilee ticket and I am confident I will be re-elected," he added.
Waluke was among 13 ODM leaders who quit to join the Jubilee Party.
He faces disciplinary action if ODM chooses to take the case forward to the registrar of political parties.
