Nairobi - DP William Ruto convinced me to leave CORD for Jubilee, an MP has said.
According to Malulu Injendi the MP for Malava, dumping the CORD Coalition to choose Jubilee was not a difficult decision.
He says that the Jubilee government is simply development oriented and deserves a shot at making the lives of Kenyans better.
" The country needs solid leadership which has been provided by the Jubilee Coalition," he told News24 on phone.
He is currently together with other MPs making rounds around western Kenya looking to sway the local vote to the Jubilee side and he says that it is an eye opening tour.
" We have received alot of support spreading the Jubilee message to Kenyans and we are looking forward to the coming times," he added.
Together with Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali, the MPs have been traversing the region accompanied by other lawmakers Ayub Savula of Lugari, Emmanuel Wangwe of Navakholo, Bernard
Shinali of Ikolomani and David Were of Matungu.
The Jubilee Coalition is seeking to split votes in the western Kenya region and enhance its own chances of returing to power after the 2017 elections.
