Bomet - Bomet governor Isaac Ruto has hit out at the Deputy President William Ruto terming him as a “dictator who should not lead the country”.
Speaking in speaking at a prize giving day at Tenwek high school in Bomet, Ruto said that the Deputy President was a dictator who is working against the tenets of democracy in the Rift Valley region and the entire country.
“I cannot sit back and watch as dictatorship is being entrenched by leaders who have a top down approach on issues,” he said.
The Bomet governor added that he will be defending his seat under his newly formed Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party.
“Kenya is a multiparty democracy and I have a constitutional right to belong to a party of my choice including participating in the formation of a new one,” he said.
