Nairobi - Do not leave the Jubilee Coalition after nominations, Uhuru tells leaders, saying that those who lose will be accomodated in government.
Following an ammendment to a law barring politicans from party hopping after nominations, the President has sought to give assurances to those that will lose the nominations.
He says that the government is big and will accomodate all those who lose and stay loyal to the party.
" I would like to urge those that lose in nominations to support the party as there will be good news for everyone afterwards," he told News24.
The President stated that those that lose will still be an important part of their machinery.
" We cannot all be elected officials but we can play a role in building the nation," he added.
The notification comes in the wake of the new law that will definitely pose a problem to political parties after the nominations, with the scenario of many unhappy members of high possiblity.
