Disappointed Sossion tells teachers to be patient

Nairobi - A disappointed Kenya National Union of Teachers boss Wilson Sossion has told teachers to remain calm and patient after the 50/60% payrise was cut down by the Appeals Court.
Sossion said that teachers should stay faithful and remain patient and that he will deliver a payrise that they deserve in the end.
" I thank teachers for remaining steadfast and supporting us during this time and I ask them further to continue offering us support as we seek the way forward," he said outside the Appeal Court.
The message came after the Appeals Court handed teachers a huge blow after it killed off the previously handed 50/60% payrise given to teachers.
Teachers have already indicated that they will head to the Supreme Court to contest the decision.
