Desperate Luhya MPs trading region for KES 50K

Nakuru - Emuhaya MP, Wilber Otichilo has accused some unnamed Luhya MPs of camping at the deputy President's office and residence in a bid to auction the region to the Jubilee party.
Otichilo said that the few hungry and desperate MPs are soliciting money from the DP with the promise of helping him get the Luhya vote.
Speaking Sunday in Nakuru town when he attended an ODM party meeting, he said that some of the MPs have been receiving as little as KES 50 000 in bribes.
"Some hungry MPs from western have been following Ruto even to the toilet; for some of them we are told they are literally camping at the DP's residence and his office asking for money," said Otichilo.
He added: "We want to tell Ruto that we are not cheap and he better forget about the Luhya votes because Luhyas will never join Jubilee."
Otichilo asked the said MPs to push the government to initiate development projects in the area instead of only asking for little money from Ruto.
