Vihiga - Two live bullets and a note have been sent to Vihiga County Assembly deputy Speaker, Richard Muhiga.
This comes two days after Speaker Dan Chitwah and over 20 other MCAs received threat messages from an unknown person.
Vihiga OCPD, Alfred Agengo has confirmed the incident noting that the package has been sent to Kakamega for forensic examination.
Muhiga said his watchman brought him a parcel at around 7pm on Sunday and when he opened it he found the two bullets.
"I was in my house watching the evening news when my watchman brought an envelope which he said had been delivered by an unknown person," said the Shamakhokho ward rep.

He said the unknown person told the watchman to deliver the envelope to the deputy Speaker.
"After I saw the bullets, I called the police who took the bullets before recording the statement the following day," said Muhiga.
Muhiga said he suspected the message is linked to the the ad hoc committee probing the County debt, where he is a member.
On Friday, the assembly Speaker and 32 MCAs received messages from an unknown person threatening to kill them and their families.
They are all members of an ad hoc committee formed earlier in December last year to investigate financial predicament of the County that has debts of over KES 2.5 billion.
