Nairobi - A top of the range vehicle belonging to Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa is among those deregistered by the tax man.
The Kenya Revenue Authority in a paid advertisement Thursday listed names of 121 vehicles it had impounded and declared deregistered.
Mr Wamalwa's Range Rover vehicle is among those affected after it was established that the number plate could have been acquired illegally.
The vehicle, registration number KCE 683H was among 124 others that had been seized in June over alleged tax evasion. Three others were cleared.

“The Authority has reasonable ground to believe the motor vehicle registration numbers have been obtained in error, fraudulently or in a manner contrary to the provisions of the Traffic Act,” reads the notice.
