CORD to nominate Karua as Senator in 2017

Nairobi - Where does Martha Karua lie in CORD's plan for the 2017 General Elections?
The NARC Kenya leader knows for a fact that she cannot run and win the Presidential nomination for the 2017 poll and will thus be used in a different manner to help the coalition's cause in the polls.
According to CORD sources, Karua will likely be handed the role of Coalition spokesperson in the run up to the 2017 polls.
The NARC Kenya Leader is also being mooted to run for Nairobi Senator, where she can use her legal nous to help the Coalition move forward.
" The Coalition is making up a plan for Karua. She will be handed the Senatorial seat in Nairobi to get her back in elective politics quickly. We need her in there and that is the best way to get her back in the hot kitchen," a CORD source told News24.

The former Justice Minister was a robust voice for the former President Mwai Kibaki and CORD is looking to get her back in a similar role.
If all fails, she could be nominated as a Senator to also get her back in a legislative position.
" If all fails she will be nominated as a Senator," the source added.
Karua did not deny or confirm the said arrangement. Her phone was off when News24 attempted to contact her.
