CORD MPs warned not to attend Ruto ICC rally

Nairobi - CORD MPs have been warned not to attend the thanksgiving rally for Deputy President William Ruto in Nakuru over the weekend.
The MPs have been urged not to attend the rally as it will be a stage set for the formation of the Jubilee Party by the DP and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The rally is also taking shape as a Jubilee affair and not a public event.
It is expected that close to 100,000 people will attend the rally.
" MPs have been told not to attend the rally as it is a Jubilee event," a CORD MP from Western Kenya who asked not to be named told News24.
CORD leaders led by coalition boss Raila Odinga have been invited to the ceremony but at the moment it is highly unlikely they will attend.
The Jubilee Party is set to be officially launched at the rally in a bid to have their presidential campaign for the 2017 elections up and running in advance.
