CORD has beaten Jubilee in 2015 says MP

Nairobi - An MP believes that 2015 has been a fantastic year for the CORD coalition and that 2016 will bring even more for the opposition.
Suba MP and ODM Chairman John Mbadi says that 2015 has been a successful year for CORD for a number of reasons.
" First and foremost, we have exposed the Jubilee Coalition for their corrupt ways and means, which is a vital part of our role," he stated.
" Secondly, we have pushed for the sacking of corrupt Cabinet Secretaries and government favourites. That will only put pressure on the executive to deal with corruption and stay on toes," he added.
" Third, we have pushed for a legislative agenda which we are on course with as the Okoa Kenya referendum continues to bear fruit and move in the right direction," he continued.
" Finally, we saw that CORD retained the Kajiado Central seat despite government machinery heavily supporting the Jubilee candidate. That was a major victory and showed that the coalition can be competitive to no end," he added.
As for 2016, the MP hopes that the real Eurobond thieves can be exposed.
" We are yet to know who bungled the Eurobond and until we do so, we will not sleep. That will be one of our main agendas for 2016," he stated.
