CORD drops MP for flirting with Jubilee

Nairobi - The CORD coalition has dropped an MP from a Parliamentary Committee for flirting with the ruling Jubilee Coalition.
Lunga Lunga MP Khatib Mwashetani, who is among politicians accused of getting close to Jubilee, has been dropped from the influential House Business Committee.
CORD communications chief Philip Etale confirmed the news.
" Yes, we are dropping an MP from the House Business Committee for various reasons," he stated.
an order paper seen by News24 Tuesday morning, only Mwashetani's name was
dropped from the Committee which comprises 29 MPs from both Jubilee and Cord.

Mwashetani and Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro have both been on record as saying they are working with the Jubilee Coalition.
" Yes. I am actively seeking alliances with the Jubilee Coalition to ensure development for my people," he said over the weekend as quoted by News24.
Mwashetani has been replaced by Mombasa woman representative Mishi Mboko.
