Comedy is an avenue for luctrative opportunities

Nairobi - Comedians make people laugh but comedy creates an avenue for lucrative opportunities for those who have ventured into the industry.
But it is not an easy job as many could think.
Vincent Mwasia commonly known as Chipukeezy made a breakthrough into the Churchill Show,aired on Sunday after auditioning in 40 episodes.
Now,he is a renowned comedian who has announced a branch off from the show to give room to other upcoming comedians. In an interview with Citizen TV, the comedian said he secured a radio presenter job at Kiss 100 thanks to his jokes while at Churchill Show.
"But I must tell you that it it not easy," he said. "You have to write down the jokes and rehearse them over and over again until you master them," he added.
Atleast 60 newcomers audition every Tuesday for the Churchill Show.
