Chief's house burnt down in a love gone sour incident

Nakuru - Kabatini Location Chief in Nakuru County will be spending the night in the cold after his house was destroyed by his lover in a love gone sour incident.
According to the residents, the chief is alleged to been a ‘man of many women’ who divorced his first wife with whom they had sired three children before marrying another wife.
The second wife had traveled to her rural home in Nyanza region for a burial ceremony of her relative prompting him to take advantage of her absence to host another woman.
Neighbors who were disturbed by the matter notified the chief’s wife who came back finding a stranger in her house.
There was drama after the two women fought each other during the day stripping each other naked before members of the public intervened.
The wife is said to have set the fire in the midst of the rage burning all their belonging to the ground.
Chief John Thuo refuted claims that the fire was as a result of love gone sour claiming the fire was an arson attack by enemies that destroyed property worth Sh 3 million.
His uniforms, academic papers and certificates were all burnt in the Wednesday evening fire.
