Nairobi - Foodies from across East Africa have a treat in store for them on the 9th of September at the KICC in the form of the Chef’s Delight Awards which honor the best of the best in the Kenyan food industry.
It celebrates some of the finest restaurants from across the country who host some of the most gifted Chefs from across the world.
In the 2012 awards Haru Restaurant in Karen and Chef J.H. Park won the awards of Best Individual Restaurant and Chef Nairobi, with Chef Tim Freeman of the Brew Bistro Ngong Road being named one of the most innovative Chefs.
This year’s event promises to be even better than the last, with the culinary standards in the country having risen to compete even on the global stage. Needless to say, tickets to this event do not come cheap, with each person in attendance expected to pay 6000ksh for a seat amongst the greatest chefs of all time. For the sum you will get 25 different cuisines, cocktails, entertainment and VVIP red carpet treatment.
