Can you find a husband after 25?

17 October 2016, 09:09 S Mbinya

Many women wonder whether they can find love after 25. The truth is, even today people are falling in love in their late 20s and early 30s - and even later. The following tips will guide you in your search:

Avail yourself
Men only ask out women who have time for dating. Regardless of how busy you are, it is good to create some time for social activities. Go out for parties, attend social events such as weddings, religious gatherings and movie shows. These are the places you are likely to meet and mingle with bachelors. Have time to talk and share with male friends. Do not lock out men by being antisocial or staying in isolation. Go out and meet your future husband.

Take action
When you identify a single man who has the qualities you are looking for, take courage and tell them that you like them. Some men are introverts and find it hard to ask a girl out. Your husband could be the shy type, and so you do not need to shy away from making the first move. If you are afraid of saying it with your words, show it with your actions; men are fast with the reading of cues and taking the appropriate action.

Do not act desperate
It is good to desire to get married, but this does not mean you should act desperate. Do not show a man that you are needy. Take your time; do not make rush decisions just because you want to be with a man. Study the men you meet and decide whether you are willing to spend your life with them. if they do not have any of the qualities you are looking for, dismiss them immediately as they will only waste your time and prevent you from meeting your husband.

Have some standards
It is good to have your own principles when interacting with men. Do not be a girl for every man. Identify the qualities you need your husband to have, and stick to that. Be on the lookout for jokers and players who are out to play with your emotions. Only give in to the one man who is in need of serious relationship, and avoid sleeping with your boyfriends as much as possible.

Be yourself
Men like people who are honest and trustworthy. Do not be a counterfeit. Be yourself and you will eventually find a man who appreciates you and is willing to take you home.
