Businessman in ICU after being shot at his home

Nyeri - A Nyeri businessman was on Sunday night shot by suspected thugs at his home in Kandara village, Nyeri town.
Area Deputy County Commissioner, John Maraete said Alfred Ndiangui was attacked at around 10pm by four men who were armed with a Ceska pistol.
“They shot him near the ear and the bullet is still in the body,” he said.
He added that the suspects robbed him of his Ceska pistol, KES 20 000 and two mobile phones.

Marete said the businessman was rushed to Mathari mission hospital before being referred to Outspan hospital where he was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Marete said police have launched investigations into the matter.
