Busia - The sporadic incidents where over 100 schools have been burnt across the country under mysterious circumstances is the work of Satan, an Anglican Church of Kenya priest revealed on Saturday.
Reverend Edwin Likhayo of the St Thomas Amagoro Church said Kenyans should not take the fire incidents in schools lightly but put God first in a bid to tame the vice.
"Satan has invaded our schools to retard the country's economy. We need prayers to help our children and the country to overcome this vice which has puzzled Kenyans," he said.
Rev Likhayo was delivering a sermon during the burial of Baby Ivan Taji Emadau, four months, at Riverside in Amagoro. Baby Ivan was the son to Nairobi Statistician Calvine Emadau and retired Chief Justice Willy Mutunga's niece, Loise Kutula.
Baby Ivan died at Fortis Memorial in India on July 21st, 2016, three days after developing post-heart surgery complications.
