Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has agreed to form a select Parliamentary Committee in the Jubilee Coalition to negotiate with CORD over the IEBC.
The President, speaking Wednesday at State House Nairobi said that the Committee will help pick up recommendations from both sides of the divide, Kenyans at large and other stakeholders before seeking a way forward to change the IEBC.
He said that the move should help both sides seek an amicable solution to the current stalemate.
" We hope our friends from CORD will bring forth their members who will be part of the select committee," he said.
The move comes a day after more deadly protests hit the country, with one person shot dead in the ensuing melee.
More to come....
