Bodaboda operators burn down car that killed their colleague

Nairobi - More than 100 irate bodaboda operators in Nanyuki town burnt down a Probox car that hit and killed their colleague on Sunday night near Sweet waters area.
Area police boss Kipkoech Kirui said the victim died on the spot.
Kirui said the deceased hit the vehicle on the left side at around while trying to overlap, where the motorcycle and the vehicle landed in a ditch.
He said the driver of the vehicle was rescued by police officers who arrived at the scene, as the bodaboda riders were threatening to lynch him.
While he condemned the incident, the police boss caution the bodaboda operators against taking law into their hands as he asked them to take precaution while on the road.
Kirui said the body of the deceased was transferred to Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
