Bobby Mapesa turns gospel

Nairobi - Kenyan rapper, lyricist and former member
of the Bugz Bobby Mapesa, has officially crossed over to the gospel side of the
music industry with his latest release “Nisamehe” (Forgive me).
Known best for
songs like Naskia Utamu, Stamina, Wezere and Bakora among many others, Bobby
was the last person people expected to cross over, he being the very embodiment
of the hip-hop lifestyle.
He has successfully made this shift with a
catchy tune qith decent visuals. Fortunately for his fans, his shifting sides
does not mean he has lost his lyrical style, delivering some of his best work
so far this year.
This is the first release from his upcoming gospel album
titled “Mtio Wa Mungu” (Child of God), one of the most anticipated albums in
