Bizarre as two immediate neighbours die in span of one hour

28 September 2016, 19:55 Joseph Njung’eh

Nairobi - Cloud of grief ahs engulfed Ichuga village, Nanyuki after two neighbours living in the same rental apartment died within one hour.

Ann Wangari, 46, was taken ill in the morning and she collapsed and died when she was being taken to hospital by her son at the bus stage.

Shortly later the residents were informed of another death of 93-year-old Peter Kariri who lived was Wangari’s immediate neighbor.

Confirming the incidents, area chief Lucy Wanja noted that though the deaths were natural residents were shocked to the manner of their occurrence.

Wanja noted that Wangari had been sick for a long time and was being taken to hospital when she collapsed and died.

She noted that Kariri died over age and there was no one to blame for the deaths and by the time of going to press the body was still lying in his bed and that of Wangari had been moved to Nanyuki Referral Hospital Mortury.

Following the development, pastors from the village organized prayers for the village that has in the recent past witnessed mysterious deaths.

According to area pastor, there is need for prayers to redeem the centre that has also experienced fatal road accidents on the Nanyuki-Nyeri road.

He also urged the residents to repent and be closer to God.
