Bishop Wanjiru to back Eugene Wamalwa's bid for Nairobi governorship

Nairobi - Water Cabinet Secretary, Eugene Wamalwa's bid for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat has been boosted after one of his major opponents hinted at backing him.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, one of the most influential politicians eyeing the seat on a Jubilee ticket Sunday said she has no qualms being Wamalwa's running mate.

"I have been looking for a Luhya running mate. My brother Wamalwa I understand has been looking for one from the Kikuyu community. We shall talk as 2017 approaches," she explained.
Ms Wanjiru was speaking during a service at her Jesus is Alive Ministries in Nairobi. MPs Stephen Kariuki (Mathare), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South) and Rachel Shebesh (Nairobi County) were present.
The Bishop prayed for Wamalwa to achieve all his dreams. The CS who did not speak much contributed KES 500,000 for the church.
