Bahati mourns loss of girl he loved
05 January 2016, 12:50
Nairobi - 2015 didn’t end as happily for Kenyan Gospel artist Bahati
as it did for most people around the world, with the loss of a close friend and
upcoming musician called Charity.
The young girl who had cancer and was
admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital, was visited by the gospel artist
earlier in 2015. The visit ended with the promise of a collaborative track
between the two. This was however not to be, with the young girl passing
away as the year drew to a close.
In a touching plea to his fans and friends, Bahati asked for
volunteers to accompany him to the funeral which is set for Tuesday. He also
asked people to contribute generously to her family as they mourn her loss.

“Beautiful People, hoping you had one of the best festive season ever. I hope you've also been praying for Charity's Family who are Part
of us #TEAMBAHATI.
Thank you for availing yourselves in big Numbers to accompany me as I attend
her burial this Tuesday in MURANG'A. My request is
that let's show the family some love and support by contributing
any amount so as to help give the little angel Charity a decent send-off....
SEND ANY AMOUNT to the Mum, MPesa No.0726 631122. Let's Spread
the Love!!!”, he said.
May her soul rest in peace.
