Nakuru - Nakuru county secretary Joseph Motari faces the sack following an indictment by the local county assembly.
Also possibly on his way out is the Public Service Management Board Chief Officer, Philip Sigei.
This after the duo was found to have engaged in malpractice during the hiring of county staff last year and early this year.
Motari and Sigei were voted out by a simple majority votes on Wednesday and if the assembly resolutions are accepted by Governor Kinuthia Mbugua, the officials will pack their bags and go home.
The two were put on the spot after the assembly adopted a section of a report by an adhoc committee chaired by Ndundori MCA Steve Kihara that declared the two unfit to hold office.
The county assembly Speaker Susan Susan Kihika reported that if Governor Kinuthia Mbugua failed to sack the duo, the report would be forwarded to the senate for further action.
