Nairobi - Another ODM MP from Nyanza has quit the party, accusing leader Raila Odinga of lacking democracy.
Karachuonyo MP James Rege says that he is tired of ODM and that he is joining Jubilee, despite what it might mean to his political career.
He says that he is openly going against ODM leader Odinga because he is the only reason there are problems in the opposition.
" Raila is the only reason why there are problems in ODM. He is the start and the end of all problems at ODM and I am fed up of dealing with them," he stated.
He said that he will support Jubilee come 2017 out of principal.
" I am moving not because I love it but because there is need for change in ODM and the persons who can make the change do not want to," he added.
Rege has been avoiding ODM activities for the last two years and even openly criticised the IEBC protests that were initiated by the party in April, May and June.
He becomes the latest ODM MP to jump ship from the opposition in recent times, adding to the levels of crisis in the opposition.
