AIC church ready to mediate between Ruto and Moi

Nairobi - The African Inland Church(AIC) has said it is ready and willing to act as a mediator between deputy president William Ruto and baringo senator Gideon Moi with the aim of reuniting them.

Retired AIC presiding bishop Silas Yego said that the political duel pitying Ruto and Moi is not good for the rift valley region.
Speaking Wednesday at Nakuru town,Yego said that the church which has a huge following in the region will reach out to the two politicians and ask them to work together.
Yego said that Rift valley will suffer politically should Ruto and Moi continue fighting.
"As the AIC church we will reach out to MOi and Ruto and ask them to respect each other and work together for the good of the people of rift valley because their fighting is likely to hurt both of them and the people of rift valley,"said Yego.
"It is only the church that can bring Ruto and Moi together because politicians have failed to do so and as AIC we are ready to do that,"he added.
