Nairobi - A Jubilee Alliance activist in Nakuru has moved to court to compel CORD leader Raila Odinga to appear before the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC to table the alleged evidence he has about the misuse of the Eurobond cash.
Kelvin Mwangi Thursday morning filed the case at the Nakuru High Court asking the court to issue orders compelling Raila to honour summons by EACC.
This comes a day after Raila defied summons to appear before EACC over the claims he made about the Eurobond cash misuse.
In his application Mwangi cites that Raila's refusal to appear before EACC is tantamount to frustrating and investigations into the alleged misuse of the Eurobond cash.
The complainant was asked to serve the plaintiff lawyers with the suit papers before mentioning of the case slated for Monday next week.
Raila has claimed for a number of weeks that the KES 250 billion Eurobond cash has been misappropriated with as much as KES 110 billion unable to be accounted for.
The government has however denied the allegations.
