Nairobi - Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba will not leave ODM, CORD leader Raila Odinga says.
Speaking Sunday, Odinga stated that no CORD leaders even those who have differed with the party on some issues will leave for other places prior to the 2017 General Elections.
He said that ODM was a party that allowed differing opinions and that he would not allow it to disintegrate over issues that can be easily agreed on.
" No one will be leaving ODM. Even those they say we are not in good books with are going nowhere," he stated.
He called on the party members to be ready to fight to secure the Presidency come 2017.
" Kenya is in a delicate situation. It needs to be saved. That is what we must all hold hands and do," he added.
Ababu has been charting a different path from his parent party in recent months over a number of initiatives, including the small matter of the ongoing IEBC protests which he is yet to attend.
