Ababu Namwamba now attacks all political parties
24 August 2016, 12:25
Nairobi - Budalangi MP, Hon Ababu Namwamba has said political parties in the country are not democratic.
"Parties are classic example of preaching water and drinking wine," said the former ODM Secretary General.
"Tickets are given depending on the size of your pocket. That's why Muluan Omondi was elected on Wiper after being denied an ODM ticket. Same happened in Muhoroni where Koyoo was elected on PDP, Awendo Jared Kopiyo on Ford Kenya among other areas," said Namwamba.
"The problem is across the country and all parties. In Nyeri, Nderitu Gachagua was elected on GNU after being denied the TNA ticket," he added.

Namwamba also slammed the leading coalitions, Cord and Jubilee, in their attempts to curtail members from defecting after nominations.
"We will go to court if it passes in Parliament. It will be legislation in vain," Ababu warned.
Ababu, who was speaking on local radio station said Mulembe consciousness is bearing fruit.
"Our aim is to unite the western people and it's bearing fruit. Western politicians have started respecting each other. Soon people will see the fruits."
