Sony Sugar coach Zedekiah was an excited man after his team went through to the KPL Top 8 Semi finals with a 1-0 win. Joshua Oyoo struck the all important goal in the dying minutes of the game to knock Sofa out.

Zico spent most of the time dishing instructions from the stands after he was sent off owing to an altercation with the linesman.
Sony revenged for being eliminated by Sofapaka last year and will now meet either Ulinzi or Chemelil Sugar in the semis.

“My team really performed well and I can say that we can go all the way in the tournament. We only have to keep the focus and work hard”, Zico said after the match.

Sony known as Gor B by fans was cheered for the entirety of the match by K’Ogalo fans who were waiting for their match against Tusker FC which was to follow after the Top 8 Clash. Former Gor plaers in the team including Dennis “Wise” Okoth and Roy Okal received thunderous cheers from the crown whenever they touched the ball.

Young sensational striker Enock Agwanda who came on in the 70th minute was also a crowd’s darling with his powerful surges upfront.
