You cannot ignore the Moi factor if you want to win in 2022, DP Ruto told

Nakuru - Rongai MP, Raymond Moi has said that deputy president William Ruto cannot ignore the Moi family support if he wants to win the 2022 presidential race.
Moi said that his family's influence within rift valley is still intact and the DP cannot take it for granted if he is serious about occupying State House in 2022.
Speaking during a Sunday service at the Kambi ya moto AIC church in Rongai, Moi said that his family was willing and ready to work with DP Ruto but he must also show willingness to respect and work with other people in rift valley.

"When going to war, you cannot ignore part of your army because they can decide to team up with your enemy and fight against you and therefore Ruto should not ignore the Moi factor in the 2022 race because we are going to make a huge impact.
"Mzee (Moi) has a lot of experience that can be beneficial to Ruto," said Moi.
"My brother Gideon has said he is ready to run in 2022 and if rift valley decides to support him, then we as a family will give him all the support," he said.
He called on Ruto to work on uniting the rift valley nation and listen to divergent opinions instead of diving Kalenjins.
"My brother should listen to all those people who have a different opinions because he will need these people in 2022.
