Yet another secular rapper joins gospel ranks

Nairobi - Zakah is considered one of the oldest artsits and founders of the rap and hip hop industry through his
group Wenyeji, and also the legendary hiphop group Ukoo Flani Mau Mau.
contribution to the industry, alongside artists like G-Wiji, who passed away
earlier in the year after a hit and run, cannot be overstated.
His contribution to “Gangster rap” is the reason why his
switch to gospel music came as a shock to many of his fans who are still trying
to reconcile with the fact. The rapper had decided to go the Juliani way and is
apparently in the studio working on something with the legendary gospel hip hop
That collaboration, if it happens would be huge for the gospel industry
and would be the track to watch out for.
