Wyre becomes Mziiki ambassador

Nairobi – Mziiki, the renowned African music-streaming app has signed the Kenyan R&B and reggae/Dance Hall star Kevin Wyre as its Brand Partner.
Wyre is the second East African musician to partner with the company as its Kenyan ambassador after the Tanzanian Bongo Flava star, Diamond Platnumz whose partnership was announced recently.
“Mziiki is a cool place for people to find new music and enjoy music from their favourite artists. It’s very exciting to be a part of the Mziiki movement,” said Wyre.
Arun Nagar, CEO of Spice VAS Digital, the developers of Mziiki expressed his joy after Wyre accepted to be his company’s brand partner in Kenya and noted that the renowned musician has been brought closer to his fans through the partnership.

“Because Mziiki is easy to use, and boasts a large array of African and international music, artists get the opportunity to expand their fan base and get their music out there while minimising piracy. Mziiki allows users to explore new genres and artists that they haven’t heard before,” said Nagar.
Launched in May 2014, Mziiki has provided artists with a boost in their music careers as the app’s platform continues to grow daily with more artists joining daily.

The app was first launched in May 2014 and has hundreds of exclusively licensed African artists with a rapidly expanding subscriber base that is set to challenge big names globally.
