Women charged for possessing seeds illegally

A woman who was last week found in possession of 43 empty packets of 2kg maize seeds belonging to the Kenya Seed Company has been arraigned before a Kitale where she was charged with being in illegal possession of Maize Seed Packs.
The court herd that on March 14, 2013 at Kitale village in Trans Nzoia county, Milcah Jepkwony was found in possession of empty seed packs of H614 and H624 breeds which are suspected to have been stolen from the Kenya Seed Company (KSC).
She denied the charges before Kitale Senior Resident Magistrate Solomon Ngetich and was released on a KES 10 000 cash bail till March 28, 2013 when the case will be heard.
