Women: 7 things you must accomplish before dating
08 September 2015, 08:12
Love is a beautiful thing, but there are certain things we have less time for when we go into a relationship especially with an amazing person. Tick these things off the list first before you get lost in love:
1. Leave your comfort zone
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. That's where the real magic happens! Do something you've always wanted to do, but haven’t done out of fear.
2. Go after that job
Don't limit yourself or your abilities. Apply for that job, even though there are 2,000 other candidates; send in that CV even though you might not feel 'qualified enough'. You might just be surprised.
3. Be kind to yourself
Realise that you are valued and special. No matter how much someone else appreciates you, you need to know your own worth. Love yourself mind, body and soul.

4. Be 'Somebody'
We usually go from being somebody's daughter, to somebody's partner, to somebody's mother – but it's important to take time out to just be somebody. While you have fewer responsibilities, enjoy your alone time, travel, try different experiences, and learn a new language.
5. Take yourself out on dates
Don't wait until you have someone to go out with. Whether you enjoy getting a good old manicure, or just sitting in the back of a tiny café reading your favourite book, remember to treat yourself.
6. Splurge on something nice
Sometimes you have to forget the price and get something you really want within reason no brand new cars if you can't afford it!! A nice handbag? A lovely pair of earrings? Go for it it makes you feel great!
7. Discover a new interest
Find something that excites you like swimming, baking, rock-climbing, anything! And do it even after falling in love.
