Woman released on KES 20 000 for chopping husband’s manhood

Nyeri - A 30-year-old woman who allegedly severed her husband’s manhood has denied the allegations before court.
Anne Njeri King'ori was facing charges of assaulting and inflicting bodily injuries on her husband at Kiamariki village, Nyeri County.
The prosecution stated that Njeri unlawfully assaulted Daniel King'ori on June 4, thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
However, while appearing before Chief Magistrate John Onyiego, Njeri denied the charges and was released on a bond of KES 20 000.
The case was slated to proceed on June 24, 2015.
