Nyeri police have launched a man haunt for a woman who failed to turn up in court after she was issued with a cash bail.
Elizabeth Wangui was issued with the bond after she went on a hunger strike while at the Police station cells last week.
She paid KES 2 000 as an assurance that she would appear in court on April 4, a pledge which she never fullfilled.
She was faced with a count of neglecting her nine months old baby at Kiganjo area on the outskirts of Nyeri town.
The baby was rescued by a good Samaritan who is living with it now in the same village.
