Woman flees after burning boyfriend with hot water

Bungoma - Police in Lwakhakha, Bungoma County, are looking for a married middle-aged woman who scolded her boyfriend with hot water inflicting him with serious injuries after he caught her with another man in a compromising situation.
The culprit has been living in a rental house in Lwandanyi market within Sirisia Constituency.
Kevin Barasa, son to Maendeleo ya Wanawake Sirisia sub-County Chair Mildred Barasa, had visited her sweet mama only to find her with another man in a compromising situation and when he questioned her, she ran for hot water in the kitchen and poured it on him instantly.
"Kwani hapa ni kwako ndio uniulize maswali ya ujinga?-is this your house for you to ask me such silly questions?" asked the woman.
The woman's husband works in Nairobi and the woman had taken advantage of his absence to sneak in other men.
Rose Namalwa, a neighbor, said that the culprit has been having affairs with different men who do not know each other and it was just sheer bad luck that she was busted.

"The culprit has been sneaking different men into her house and they would lock up themselves for hours but the victim never realized until he busted them and that is when she became infuriated and scolded the young man with hot water," narrated Namalwa.
The victim, who was rushed to Lwandanyi dispensary in critical condition, had received serious injuries on the face, chest, stomach and legs.
The health facility clinical officer in charge, Felix Pombo said the patient was treated and referred to Bungoma county referral hospital for further treatment.
"We ... referred him to Bungoma Hospital because the scars injuries were beyond our capacity," explained Pombo.
Lwakhakha police base Officer Commanding station (OCS), Anthony Karisa said that police are pursuing the culprit who fled after committing the offence.
"My officers are in hot pursuit of the culprit who is believed to have fled to Uganda after committing the offence but we will soon catch up with her," said Karisa.
