Kwale - Police Officers in Kwale County have launched a hunt for a 50-years old witchdoctor who allegedly defiled a minor at Maganyakulo area in Matuga sub-county within Kwale County.
The witchdoctor, identified as Juma Mwiya, defiled the 14-year-old girl as she waited to receive epilepsy medication on Sunday morning.
The girl was in the company of her grandmother, Mwanamisi Mwambindo when the incident occurred.
“My granddaughter has been suffering from epilepsy for the last four years and when I heard that there was a witchdoctor who could treat it using herbs I decided to take her for treatment. On reaching there, she had a seizure and Mwiya told me to get out of the room so he could administer treatment only to take advantage of her,” Mwambindo said.
