Willy Paul makes it big in Washington

17 August 2014, 16:12 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - Gospel artist Willy Paul has been out of the country for the past few weeks on tour, promoting his newly released tracks and according to him, the tour has been a success.

He came out Sunday to thank the Lord and his fans for the support, calling out to his haters to join the success and be happy with him.

" I thank God for making the concert in Washington settle a success and the turn out was massive. When they hate, the Lord keeps us moving, he said.

He also alluded to a story doing the rounds that he was nearly conned by a woman while in America.

" Something that I must say, when the deal is too good think twice. I met a woman sometime back in the US who pretended to be a business woman and tried to con me (Minister of God). I have to put the word up here for my fellow artists to see and to be careful, some people are so heartless. Keep it here for more of what actually went down, #teamwillypaulmsafi, he added.

He also with this post uploaded a selfie he took after the concert in Washington with his fans in what appears to be the show's back stage. He has received many positive and supportive comments from his fans.
